Brighter Futures is a free voluntary programme for individuals who have committed or are at risk of committing behaviours defined as domestic violence and abuse.
Brighter Futures is a new service that helps people who have been abusive in the home. We offer either weekly group sessions or one-to-one sessions in a relaxed environment that will help you to reduce risk to you and your family.
The programme consists of 10x 1.5 hour sessions conducted on a weekly basis and includes solution-focused brief therapy, with cognitive-behavioural therapy techniques.
This approach is evidence-based and uses an intervention that has been shown to increase customer engagement, reduce risk and help individuals stop being violent and abusive.
