Fry Housing Trust has an annual budget for repairs and maintenance of its properties across Birmingham, Sandwell, Solihull, Leamington, Coventry, Bromsgrove and Nuneaton.
The Trust only commissions repairs and maintenance work from contractors who are registered on the Trust’s approved Contractors Framework. As part of its social value commitments, the Trust is particularly keen and interested to work with local small and medium enterprises (SME’s) who are based within the areas above.
The Trust is keen to receive applications from contractors who are able to assure:
- Competence around financial standing, appropriate insurance in place and health and safety processes and risk assessments are in place
- Timely, responsive and high quality service
- Workplace volunteering, training and potential employment opportunities for our customers as part of our Social Value action plan, where possible.
