Accommodation and support
Fry Housing Trust provides supported accommodation and floating support services in the West Midlands, Worcestershire and Warwickshire to those who are homeless and ex-offenders or at risk of offending.
Support that Fry Housing Trust can assist with obtaining includes:
- Budgeting money, claiming benefits and managing debt
- Finding independent accommodation.
- Arranging doctors’ or other registrations and appointments
- Finding independent accommodation
- Setting up a home, new utility accounts and payment plans
- Assisting with organising grants for furniture or collection arrangements of donated items when available
- Anger management
- Independent living skills and cooking skills
- Accessing training or employment, volunteering opportunities and literacy help
- Addressing alcohol or drug abuse
- Rebuilding relationships
- Counselling and legal advice
- Getting to know the new area and local social activities and building connections with the community.
Fry Housing Trust will either support you directly or signpost you to a partner agency. However, we are limited to housing related support and are unable to provide care services.
